Comprehensive ABA terminology library aligned with the current BACB Test Content Outline for BCBA and RBT exams.
Teachers can create classes, track student progress, and assign specific deck sets.
Join hundreds of graduate students and practitioners building fluency in ABA terminology with precision teaching methods.
"TAFMEDS helped me finally feel confident with ABA terminology. The timed practice pushed me to think quickly, just like I need to in supervision sessions."
Sarah M.
BCBA Candidate - Online Master's Program
"The precision teaching approach actually works. I went from struggling with terminology to answering fluently in class discussions. My professors noticed the difference."
Marcus T.
Graduate Student - Applied Behavior Analysis
"As a working RBT, I only have small chunks of time to study. The 60-second timings fit perfectly into my schedule, and I can see my progress on the chart."
Jennifer L.
RBT Pursuing BCBA - Part-time Graduate Student
"I was skeptical about flashcard apps, but the celeration chart showing my learning rate convinced me this is evidence-based. My terminology fluency doubled in 3 weeks."
David K.
First-Year Graduate - ABA Program
The SAFMEDS method has been proven effective for over 40 years. We've made it digital and even more powerful.
Select from ABA terminology, BCBA exam prep, or custom deck sets tailored to your learning goals.
See a term, type the definition. 60 seconds to respond to as many cards as possible.
View your performance on Standard Celeration Charts. Watch your fluency grow over time.
Build lasting fluency through daily practice. Ready for exams and real-world application.
TAFMEDS implements the SAFMEDS (Say All Fast a Minute Every Day Shuffled) method, a fluency-based learning approach developed within Precision Teaching.
SAFMEDS uses 60-second timed practice sessions. This format allows learners to track their response frequency (correct responses per minute) as a measure of fluency.
Progress is plotted on the Standard Celeration Chart, a semi-logarithmic chart developed by Ogden Lindsley that displays learning trends over time.
Precision Teaching aims for fluency - the combination of accuracy plus speed. Fluent performance is associated with better retention and application of learned material.
Cards are shuffled each session to prevent sequence memorization and ensure learners can respond to terms in any order, supporting true conceptual understanding.
Precision Teaching was developed by Ogden Lindsley in the 1960s. The SAFMEDS method was later developed by Graf and Lindsley. While research supports the effectiveness of fluency-based instruction, individual results vary based on factors including practice frequency, prior knowledge, and learning goals.
TAFMEDS is grounded in Precision Teaching methodology developed over 60 years of behavioral research.
Developed by Ogden Lindsley in the 1960s, Precision Teaching uses Standard Celeration Charts to measure and accelerate learning.
